Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do, we ship directly to most countries in the world.

Can my wood glasses get wet?

Your wood glasses can get wet. The sunglasses are treated with a coating that is non-allergenic hardened protective finish. This protective coating helps the wood maintain the proper moisture needed to prevent drying out and/or cracking, while also helping to repel water and sweat.

Do they Float?

No, we use a higher quality CR39 Optial Grade 2mm lens, which is too heavy to allow the glasses to float. Only companies using the inferior .5 mm tac lens float. The quality is in the ability to filter out harmfull rays, and there is a very large difference in the two.

Can I put my prescription in my glasses?

Our acetate framed models can be fitted with prescription lenses at your local optical lab. We do not currently offer a wood framed style that is prescription ready at the moment and do not recommend trying to have this done as it is not covered and will void your warranty. 

When will my order be shipped? When will it arrive?

If your order was placed Monday thru Thursday it will be within 48 hours. If your order was placed on Friday the order may be shipped the same day, if not it will be shipped on Monday. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your order has shipped. All domestic packages within the 48 states usually take 2-7 days. International orders can take anywhere between 2-4 weeks.

What's the status of my order? How do I track my order?

Once you have placed an order, you can check on its status at any time. To track your order from this page, (https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input). Once an order has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email that will contain your tracking information.

RETURN AND WARRANTY  QUESTIONS

What's your return policy?

Calisons.com accepts the return or exchange of full-priced merchandise with the original receipt and tags attached for up to 30 days after purchase if returned unused and undamaged. Calisons reserves the right to determine if item is returned unused and undamaged. All discounted merchandise sales are final. All sales are final on swimwear, undergarments, sunglasses*, watches, jewelry and skateboards. Partial returns of multiple item promotions forfeit all promotional pricing.

Returns are refunded in the method of original payment. Shipping is nonrefundable. All merchandise must be returned in its original unused, unwashed packaged & resalable condition. Shoeboxes must not have tape or any other shipping labels on them - shoeboxes used as shipping boxes will not be accepted.

What’s the warranty on the sunglasses?

CaliSons warranties our sunglasses against breakage due to defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Scratched lenses are considered normal wear and are not covered under warranty.

CaliSons has sole discretion to determine manufacturer’s defects. Apparel and accessories are not covered under the this warranty policy.

CaliSons will only authorize the warranty claim if the product was purchased from our online store, our flagship store or one of our authorized dealers within the US.

This warranty lasts up to one year from the purchase date. This warranty covers all parts of your CaliSons product, excluding lenses, and applies to all types of manufacturing defects or failure. Scratched lenses as a result of normal use are not covered by this warranty. The warranty program does not cover product that is lost, stolen, dropped, shattered, sat on, or any other damages incurred from the user.

ORDERING QUESTIONS

Will my credit card be charged immediately?

Your credit card will be charged until your order is recieved. When you enter your credit card information on the final review page, we’ll give you an order confirmation number. You will also immediately receive an e-mail confirming that your order has been received. We will send you another e-mail to notify you when your order has been shipped.

Why should I become a registered user?

You won’t have to re-enter your credit card, shipping or billing information; when you place an order they will be filled in automatically.

How do I know if my order has been shipped?

Once you have placed an order, you can check on its status at any time. Once an order has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email that will contain your tracking information.

How do I change or cancel an order? You can change or cancel your order only prior to shipping just Email calisons@calisons.com and they will get you taken care of.

What type of payment options are there? We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

 

PRODUCT QUESTIONS

What type of lenses do you use?

All of our glasses in the Wood collections come standard with Polorized CR-39 plastic lenses. The CR-39 lenses are half the weight of glass lenses, have better ultraviolet (UV) light protection, are less prone to shattering, and can be tinted more easily. And with an added scratch-resistant coating, they are nearly as resistant to scratches as glass lenses.

How should I clean my glasses?

We recommend using tap water and the micro fiber cleaning pouch which was provided to you with your purchase. Genially blot the lens dry with the micro fiber cloth and gently polish to remove any smudges. Lens glass specific cleaners will also do the trick.

What is the Acetate collection made out of?

It is made from plants, not oil, like most acetate/plastic out there. It is a process that we worked on with our supplier in Italy to develop. It uses cellulose from plants like cotton and trees to create a biodegradable product that will last a lifetime

Is the wood you use sustainable? Yes, we only use wood from sustainable or managed sources. We won’t use wood that is endangered.

What kind of UV protection do your sunglasses offer?

All of our sunglasses offer a UV 400 (100% UVA / UVB)

How durable are the glasses?

We start with wood species that are strong as well as lightweight. We select the best cuts free from defects and flaws. We then treat all our frames to protect the natural fibers within the wood. This makes the frames much stronger than untreated wood without sacrificing the beauty and natural character of real wood.

 

SHIPPING QUESTIONS

 

What are your shipping fees? We charge a flat shipping and handling fee for all domestic orders of $12.35. This covers the shipping and packaging cost.

What's the difference between Order Date and Ship Date?

The order date is the date that you placed your order. The ship date is the day that the purchase was shipped out of our facilities. Order and ship date can sometimes be the same day. Most of the time the ship date will be a day or two after the order date.

Do you ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses?

Yes we can ship to PO boxes and to APO/FPO addresses.

Is my personal and credit card information safe on your website?
